Booking @ The Family Centre - Who can rent?

The Family Centre is a bright and accessible facility owned by Family and Children's Services of Waterloo Region. We have a variety of spaces available for short-term rentals. To date, we have had over 90 community groups and organizations that have rented space in the Family Centre for programs, events, workshops, counselling, and recreational activities.

The Family Centre offers a wide variety of rooms for rent to our community partners (renters). Our room capacity ranges in size from 4 people to 200. We have spaces for sports and recreation, we have held conferences and trade shows, training events, meetings, workshops, and groups for children, youth, and adults. Please read below for more information about booking your next event at The Family Centre!

Who Can Rent?

We have had over 90 community groups and organizations who have rented and used our facility for meetings, conferences, workshops, programs, and events within Education, Health, Recreation, Mental Health, Addiction Services, and other supports and opportunities for families. Our community partners are an important part of helping us fulfill our mission of "strengthening families through a community of collaboration."

Occasionally we also rent to community organizations and businesses not focused specifically on children, youth, and families.

***Please Note: We require all renters to hold 3rd party liability insurance & provide a Certificate of Insurance with Family and Children's Services listed as an additional insured in advance of any event***

At this time, the Family Centre focuses on community rentals and is not presently available for private party rentals such as birthdays, wedding receptions, etc.
