"Winter Celebration of the Arts" presented by the Resilience Project
On December 21st from 6-7pm, the Resilience Project is hosting its Winter Celebration of the Arts.
The event will share the talents and creativity of children by showcasing their art work. In this virtual one-hour session, you will have a chance to view the artwork created by children, to hear from their facilitators and to understand the importance of collective resilience at work.
As you will see, children learn skills to envision their hopes, dreams and aspirations through art and create connections, thus empowering one another while maintaining social distance due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The Resilience Project provides ‘scaffolding’ for children to think about their reality and to act upon it through the creative process of art making, all while supported by caring adults and community members. This goes beyond the initial purpose of individual talent development. In fact, the Resilience Project focuses on cultivating a bigger view of life as children participate in art groups.
We would love to have you be part of the community supporting these children and hope you will attend the virtual Winter Celebration of Arts.
