Hello Everyone,
Please see the information below for some of our upcoming Spring groups.
There are both VIRTUAL and IN PERSON groups for children, youth, and adults to best meet their individual needs.

Referral Process:
Simply select the link for the group location that works for you and fill out the required information.
If you have any questions about the referral process or how a particular group can support your family please call, or email any of the Group Facilitators or myself.

Trusting Loving Connections (In Person) Caregivers of children 0-12 years of age

A 10-week group for caregivers parenting children between birth and 12. The program seeks to offer support to caregivers to gain a better understanding of how their own childhood experiences and attachment relationships affect their parenting and their relationships with their children..

Circle of Security (Virtual) - Caregivers of children ages 0-12

An 8-week program to support caregivers to see their child’s behaviour through an attachment lens. The program supports caregivers in understanding their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs.

The caregivers learn ways to help their child manage emotions, develop better self-esteem, and enhance their attachment.

CONNECT Group (In Person) - Caregivers parenting youth between the ages of 13-17 years age.

A 10-week program for caregivers parenting youth between 13-17. The group seeks to promote sensitive and effective parenting. It focuses on their teen’s attachment needs and emotional state and explores different ways for parents to respond with sensitivity and attuned responses, while still maintaining clarity of limits and expectations.

Time For us Parent Group (In Person) Caregivers

Provides a connection time for typically women in the community to hang out, share resources, share knowledge, and learn from peers who are also staff.

Our focus is around parenting and offering a safe space to be vulnerable, gain insights and supporting tools to empower peers/families.

Make the Connection 0-3 (Virtual) Caregivers and their Children (Birth-36 months of age)

Make the Connection 0-3 provides interactive discussions about the key components of secure attachment for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

We will also incorporate hands-on parent and child activities to align with discussion topics.

Mindfulness Hangout for Kids (In Person) Ages: 6-9 years old

A 8 week hangout for kids to talk about and learn more about Mindfulness through a variety of activities and exercises.

Healthy Together (In Person) Caregivers and their children 7 years and older

Healthy Together is a family education program that engages the entire family in addressing nutrition, money management, movement, and family connections. In this after school program, meals will be prepared and enjoyed together.

Join us for fun and games, where they will discuss topics including bullying, family changes, building empathy within the world around us to support a healthy future and much more.

I AM (In Person) Children/Youth 11-13 years of age Youth Grades 6-8

I AM is a free, afterschool group for youth in Grades 6-8.

I AM is a 8 week group that works to build healthy relationships with friends, family and classmates through building self-esteem and self-worth. Through fun, engaging and interactive activities, I AM examines the importance of healthy relationships and a positive personal image. The group brings awareness and explore topics that can impact an individual’s self-esteem and how that can affect daily decisions and relationship in an age of strong media influences.

Young Men’s Group (In Person) Youth in grade 8 attending Cedar Creek PS

Focused on the prevention of violence through the promotion of positive, healthy relationships. Safe space for young men to discuss issues such as bullying, dating violence, peer violence and group violence. Designed to increase the participant’s relationship-building capacity, address risky behavior, and encourage healthier decisions related to relationships, substance use and sexual behavior.

In partnership with Male Allies and Cedar Creek PS
