A Joint Statement from our Agency and Board of Directors

Waterloo Region is a diverse community and home to people from all different cultures, religions, and ethnic groups. At Family and Children’s Services we acknowledge the devasting impact of the war that is happening in the Middle East, and we reaffirm our commitment to standing against all forms of violence, hate and discrimination.

We remain committed to providing services to the children, youth, and families in our community, and our thoughts are with those who have loved ones affected by these violent acts. We encourage our staff to reach out and offer support to families that have been impacted.

FACS Waterloo will continue to foster an environment of inclusion, empathy, and trust as the wellbeing of our staff, community partners and the families we serve remains our top priority.
